CHRISTMAS MIX

Step 1

• Mix all ingredients in a large bowl.
• Place wax paper on a cookie sheet.

Step 2

• Microwave chips 2 minutes; stir.
• Microwave 10 seconds more.
• Pour over mix in bowl while stirring, to coat.
• Spread out on wax paper until cool.
• Store in an airtight container.

CEREAL CHRISTMAS TREES

• Melt butter and marshmallows over low heat, stirring constantly.
• Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and food color.
• Fold in cheerios.
• On waxed paper, shape into trees.
• Cut gumdrops into slices and press into color trees.

FANTASY CHRISTMAS TREE

Step 1

• Divide popcorn between two greased 4 quart bowls.

Step 2

• Combine in heavy saucepan.
• Cook over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil.
• Continue cooking without stirring until mixture reaches 270 on a candy thermometer.
• Remove from heat.

Step 3

• Add ingredients immediately and mix until just combined.
• Pour half of mixture over each bowl of popcorn, but keep a few tablespoons in the pan.
• Working quickly, mix thoroughly with a wooden spoon.
• With greased hands and on a greased cookie sheet, shape popcorn into Christmas tree 9” high x 6” base.

Step 4

• Gently press candies onto tree to decorate.
• If the syrup on the tree has hardened, dip the candies into the Silver decors remaining warmed syrup mixture, then press onto the tree.
• Decorate top of tree as desired.
